LISA'S LEGACY AMBASSADOR

A Lisa’s Legacy Ambassador is a person who has been identified as  a caring and compassionate person.  One who has a lot of empathy for those who are grieving.   In addition, they have a desire to help people.

The ambassadors keep two Lisa’s Legacy bags on hand at their home, ready to give when they have an occasion to use them.  They are supplied with an adult grief bag and a bag for children with items that could go in a child’s grief bag.  The items for the children’s bags cover an age range, so the ambassador is free to select which items would be appropriate for the child/children receiving the bag.

Within the first two months, Lisa’s Legacy has ambassadors in Washington (state), Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, Tennessee, Arizona and South Carolina.

The ambassadors were told that they may be keeping the bags for a week, a month or even a year before they see a need to use them.  That’s okay.  They will have a bag ready when the time comes.  Three of the ambassadors saw a need almost immediately and were able to give a bag, along with compassionate conversation to the person/family who was grieving.

“ I would be honored to be a Lisa’s Legacy Ambassador”

“That’s a wonderful idea.  I’d like to be a part of it”.

“Lisa would have loved this concept.  I want to do it in her honor”.

I have been so pleased at the responses that I’ve gotten when I have asked a person to be an ambassador.

Such positivity motivates me.  It energizes me.  It inspires me.
